For detailed road closure maps and public transport options, check the Edinburgh Council website and Lothian Buses information.

Officers are also warning the public about online fraud.

A police spokesperson said: “Concerts are a prime target for scammers. Protect yourself and ensure your night is unforgettable for the right reasons:

“ONLY Buy from Official Sources: Purchase tickets directly from the venue (Scottish Gas Murrayfield), official ticket agents like Ticketmaster or AXS, or reputable re-sale platforms. Look for the STAR (Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers) logo for trusted sellers.

“Beware of “Too Good to Be True” Deals: If the price seems unusually low, it’s likely a scam.

“Avoid Bank Transfers: Always use secure payment methods like credit cards, which offer more protection if something goes wrong.

“Bank transfers provide very little recourse.

“Be Wary of Social Media & Unsolicited Offers: Scammers often target social media. Be suspicious of unexpected messages or private sellers.

“Verify the Seller: If using a third-party, check their reviews and ensure they have clear contact details.

“Check Ticket Details Carefully: Before purchasing, double-check the date, time, venue, and seating information.

“If you suspect fraud, report it to police on (101) or Action Fraud.”
