A full and varied schedule of festive events is once again on the agenda at Pettycur Bay Holiday Park & The Bay Hotel in Kinghorn.

There is something for everyone, whether you are looking to book a festive meal, a party, or an event for children.

Festive Fayre in Horizons is a great opportunity for a sociable get together with family, friends and work colleagues. Available from the 1st to 24th Dec, between 12 noon and 9pm, two delicious courses are priced at just £24 per person.

Party nights will take place on the Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th Dec, with a special party for children on the 14th, with two different timeslots. A fabulous Hogmanay Party on the 31st Dec will ensure that 2025 is welcomed in style. A New Year’s Day Hangover Party is also available for those who want to keep the party going a little bit longer.

Having made its return to the festive schedule at Pettycur in 2023, after a gap of several years, Christmas Day dining is back once again, with a delicious three course feast, priced at £85pp for adults, with children under 12 priced at £20.95

Served between 12 noon and 4 pm on the big day, guests can look forward to choosing from starters including warm crab & ginger tart, and terrine of chicken, parma ham, and woodland mushrooms.

Main courses include everyone’s favourite festive bird – traditional roast turkey with all the trimmings – but if that is not for you, there’s succulent scotch beef fillet, or a parsnip, squash and thyme tart.

Desserts include a choice of bramley apple cheesecake, traditional Christmas Pudding, or a rich chocolate & pear tart.

“It’s that time of the year again when we are pleased to reveal our exciting festive line up,” said General Manager of Pettycur Bay Holiday Park, Janet Murray.

“The whole team works hard to ensure we are offering the very best festive food, the best feel good entertainment, the best Parties, the best Hogmanay – these are the things that sum up what Christmas & New Year is all about – and a wide ranging and affordable mix of events for all the family, something to suit all tastes.”

“Christmas Day dining was hugely popular last year, when it made a welcome return to the schedule,” added Janet. We’ve brought it back again this year, as it’s a real treat to go out and have your festive feast made for you.”

“All of our dining, parties and festive events are open to everyone – you don’t need to be a resident on the park to come here to celebrate.

“We are very much the centre of the community here at Christmas. We really appreciate the support of our repeat customers. We’ve kept our prices as affordable as possible so that even more people can get involved – whether it’s a Christmas meal in Horizons with colleagues, a party night with the neighbours, or bringing the grandchildren to meet our Santa Claus.”

Menu choices for Horizons Festive Fayre include Chicken Liver pate, haddock & dill fishcakes, traditional Roast Turkey, herb crusted salmon, and baked Brie and Beetroot tart.

Running on 13 and 14 December at 7pm, Pettycur Party Nights are priced at £45 per person. A three course meal is served before the dancing begins, with partygoers sure to work it off on the dance floor.

Every child receives a gift from Santa at the two Children’s Christmas Parties on 14 December, from 2-4pm, and 6-8pm. Tickets are £10 for children, and a £1 for each adult – prices held since 2022.

The Bring In The Bells Hogmanay Party takes place from 8pm to 1am. Adult tickets are £35 each, with Children at £25.  Entertainment is provided by Kerry Burley and four piece band Out of the Box, with Pettycur favourite, Chris Wainwright also performing, along with a piper to pipe in the New Year. A complimentary buffet box is provided after the Bells.

The Hangover Party takes place on the 1st January, (adults £15, Children £10), with Karaoke with Chris Wainwright kicking things off 3-6pm, followed by more entertainers until 9pm. A complimentary buffet will also be served.
