Linlithgow-born international cyclo-cross star Cameron Mason headlines a special event hosted by Ned Boulting and the date is Friday, February 23 (18.00) at Pedal Power in West Calder.

Shop owner Jonny McBride said Mason will take the audience through the career of the talented rider who competes in cyclo-cross, gravel, road racing and mountain bike events at home and abroad.

The 23-year-old, who came second in the men’s elite race in the UEC European cyclo-cross Championships in France in November 2023, is currently racing for UCI cyclo-cross team, the Cyclocross Reds, and he added: “This event promises to be a remarkable experience for all cycling enthusiasts.”

Boulting will delve into the life of the rider who rides for Great Britain and has also won the National Cyclo-Cross Championship and he will introduce the stories behind Mason’s triumphs, the challenges the rider has faced and the secrets of his success.

McBride added: “The audience will hear first-hand accounts of Cameron’s most memorable moments, his training routines and the adrenaline-fueled world of professional cycling.

“Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or simply curious about the sport, this event promises to be a thrilling evening.”

Tickets are £18 or £25 for a VIP pass and they are selling fast on Eventbrite.com. The event ends at 21.30.
