The October exhibition at the Scottish Arts Club in Rutland Square features works by one of the club members, Douglas Matthews.
Douglas Matthews’ “East – West, Sea and Sky” is a physical exhibition you can actually visit and you can obtain free tickets to view – up to two tickets per half hour slot are available through Eventbrite. It is also available to see online here.
Douglas studied at Glasgow School of Art (Drawing & Painting) has been teaching art since his graduation. He has been tutoring groups both at the Scottish Arts Club as well as at the Holyrood Art Club, both located in Edinburgh. Matthew has had 6 exhibitions and paints both in water and oil based mediums. This exhibition will include a collection of his seascapes.
Exhibition runs until 30 October 2020. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
