Edinburgh Gin has a new flavour – Gooseberry and Elderflower gin – which they think is the perfect addition to afternoon tea. So they have joined forces with Mimi’s Bakehouse and are offering a summer combination delivered to you throughout July.

From today Friday 26 June 2020, for four weekends, if you live in Edinburgh or Glasgow you will be able to order the exclusive Afternoon G&Tea from Mimi’s Bakehouse, which will includes a 70cl bottle of Edinburgh Gin’s newest addition to its award-winning flavour range.

The “Mimi’s Bakehouse x Edinburgh Gin Afternoon G&Tea” contains six mini traybakes, two mini elderflower cupcakes and two, freshly baked, plain scones, with Rodda’s Cornish clotted cream – plus homemade gooseberry jam, giving a zesty kick to the spread*.

The tea is complete with a bottle of Edinburgh Gin’s Gooseberry and Elderflower gin. Bottled at 40% ABV, the delightfully tangy expression boasts flavours of tart gooseberries and sweet elderflower, giving it a subtly tangy taste, with a delicate, honeyed finish. It’s perfect paired with a light tonic and garnished with fresh mint or used as a base for cocktails – making it the ultimate summer picnic pour.

The “Mimi’s Bakehouse x Edinburgh Gin Afternoon G&Tea” costs £50, including delivery, and is available to order via the Mimi’s website. Orders open 12pm Friday 26th June for delivery on Friday 3rd July.

To toast the special partnership, and the official start of summer, Edinburgh Gin will also be giving two copa glasses to the first 100 orders of their Afternoon G&Tea.
