A police investigation is underway following the death of a 75-year-old man who was found unconscious in Learmonth Terrace at 09:50 on Sunday.
He was taken by emergency services to hospital where he later died.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “At 9.50am on Sunday, March 1, a 75-year-old man was found unconscious in Learmonth Terrace, Edinburgh.
“The man was taken to hospital where he later died.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death, which is currently being treated as unexplained.”
