A pre-application notice has been lodged with the council for a proposed development at 48-50 Iona Street in Leith EH6 8SW.


The development will include flats, affordable homes and student accommodation.
Two public exhibitions are begin held today 2 September 2019 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm and tomorrow 3 September 2019 from 9.00am until 1.00pm at Out of the Blue Drill Hall Dalmeny Street, EH6 8RD.
The leaflet we have seen offers key benefits of the new affordable housing, high quality architecture, getting rid of an industrial neighbour and associated idling HGVs, as well as the provision of landscaped gardens and the creation of construction jobs.

The site is a warehouse owned and used by Walker Timber Limited.
