NEW MULTI MILLION POUND LODGE DEVELOPMENT FOR ABERDEENSHIRE TRANSFORMS REDUNDANT FARM

Local developer Bill McDonald has announced the launch of Royal Arch Riverside Park near Fettercairn, a new multi million pound lodge development created on former redundant farmland.

Offering over fifty units in its first phase, priced from £70-£250k, Royal Arch Riverside Park, which is just a mile from the A90, has teamed up with top industry manufacturers, such as Stately Albion, Pemberton and Atlas, to present a five star development, encompassing a quality food offering. Along with three shops, state of the art reception and office, Royal Arch Riverside Park will include a café/bistro, which is currently under construction. The park also features a fully stocked trout loch.  Eight local jobs have already been created, with an Open Day to be held at the end of June.

Already the subject of extensive landscaping by Mr McDonald and his team, Royal Arch Riverside Park now has a new access road in and out of the development, featuring eleven new passing places.

Commenting on the new park Bill McDonald said: “We’re very excited to launch this new venture, the result of a year of extensive planning and development, coupled with considerable investment in infrastructure and security.”

“We’ve assembled a superb selection of luxury lodges to market, the finest to be found in the area,” he added. “The convenient location attracted us to develop here, literally on the doorstep of Royal Deeside, coupled with the fact the site lies in picturesque scenery, with an open outlook.”

“We have not been shy to invest in the park, and it’s benefitting the entire area, with considerable future spin off to come in attracting passing food trade once we are fully established.”

Adding that he believed the current lodge sector in Scotland to be “very vibrant”, Mr McDonald said he was confident Royal Arch Park would be very popular with both investors seeking a passive income through buy to let, and those seeking a quality holiday home.

“It’s all about strong investment potential,” he said, “Owners here can expect to charge £600 to £1200 plus per week per season for lettings. It’s an achievable second income, made even easier to obtain by our online system whereby buyers can upload their lodge details. We have an experienced on site lettings and maintenance team at their disposal too.”

Alongside attracting investors, Royal Arch Park is offering finance assistance.

“We want to open up our market, with assistance for everyone, even if you don’t have money sitting in the bank, and want to finance your purchase,” said Bill McDonald. “You may want to buy purely as a holiday home, or add in some second income potential through letting out your lodge. We can help make that happen, with a range of flexible financing options.”

“We’re open all year round here at Royal Arch Riverside Park, so it’s a full twelve month season. Holiday makers will be attracted by the wealth of activities, and visitor attractions, in the area,” said Bill McDonald.
