The newest fish and chip shop in town will open on 3 December 2018 on Victoria Street.

Bertie’s is the new £3 million restaurant which the Vittoria Group will add to their portfolio.

The eatery and bar will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. With 300 covers in the 11,000 square feet space the owners hope this will become the favourite go to plaice…..

Appealing to both locals and tourists the atmosphere will be fun and casual but serving quality authentic sustainably sourced ingredients. You will not need to make advance bookings for this grown up seaside restaurant featuring seaside artefacts such as rope and anchors.

Fish and chips will be reinvented on Victoria Street in the former St John’s Church. There will also be lighter meals all under £10 and a variety of beers and cocktails available in the bar.

The group’s other restaurants include La Favorita, Divino Enoteca, Vittoria George IV Bridge & Vittoria on the Walk and Taste of Italy.
