A police investigation is underway after a dog walker found the body of a man in St Mark’s Park this morning.

Officers attended the scene just before 10am and sealed the area off to allow for a forensic examination.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “About 9.55am, officers attended St Mark’s Park following the discovery of a man’s body by a member of the public. Inquiries remain ongoing.

The death is currently being treated as ‘unexplained’.
