There will be a meeting on 29 May : The Betrayal of Community, Culture and Heritage held by those who have fought long to preserve India Buildings for the city rather than see it being developed into a luxury hotel.

Let there Be Light Edinburgh invites everyone to what they claim will be one of Edinburgh’s biggest meetings this year.

The aim is to encourage The City of Edinburgh Council, The Scottish Parliament and Sir Richard Branson think again about Community, Culture and Heritage.

Confirmed speakers include Terry Levinthal, James Simpson OBE and Andy Wightman MSP.

The meeting takes place in Central Hall, Tollcross EH3 9BP on Tuesday 29 May from 7pm to 9pm.
