The General Assembly of the Church of Scotland continues this week at Assembly Hall on Mound Place. The newly installed Moderator Rt Rev Susan Brown attended St Giles Cathedral this morning for a service there.
Commissioners will discuss the Church’s strategic plan, the Westminster Confession of Faith and a proposal to draft legislation to allow ministers to perform same sex marriages should they wish to do so.
