The Hibernian Player of the Year Awards, sponsored by Caledonian Heating & Plumbing was held at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange last night with in excess of 750 in attendance.

Midfielder Dylan McGeouch scooped a double, winning the Players’ Player of the Year award, sponsored by Black Ivy, and the Player of the Year award, sponsored by Caledonian Heating & Plumbing, after a sensational season for the 25-year-old.

Youngster Oli Shaw collected Young Player of the Year, sponsored by Belmont, as voted for by the Hibernian fans whilst Academy Player of the Year, sponsored by CBR Maintenance, was Jayden Fairley of the Hibernian under-16s and under-17s who has also been capped by Scotland at under-16 level.

Scott Allan, who joined Hibernian on loan in January, won Goal of the Season, sponsored by McNicoll Vehicle Hire, for his volley against Hearts and the 2-0 win over our city rivals was voted as the Moment of the Season, sponsored by JB Contracts.
