A second man has been arrested in connection with an alleged stabbing which took place outside the King’s Theatre on Tarvit Street  around 9.45pm on Thursday.

A 41-year-old man was taken to hospital after the incident.

Last Friday, a 42-year-old man was charged with attempted murder over the alleged attack.

Police Scotland have  announced that a second man, aged 54, has been arrested.

He is due to appear in court later today.
