Hearts have confirmed they were the subject of an internet fraud which occurred earlier this year. Yesterday, Hamilton Academical announced they were the victim of a similar fraud which is believed to have cost the club ÂŁ750,000 and has left the club with serious operational difficulties.
It is understood the sum Hearts lost is smaller.
Meanwhile, Hearts head to Dingwall on Saturday to face Ross County on Ladbrokes Premiership business. Kick-off is at 3.00pm.
