CELEBRATE THE WEEKEND WITH THE CALEDONIAN CUP AT MUSSELBURGH RACECOURSE
Apparently horse racing is the second most popular sport in the UK for both men and women so if you are looking for a great day out in September you can celebrate the weekend at Musselburgh Racecourse with the Caledonian Cup Raceday in association with Caledonian Brewery.
On Saturday 16 September, racegoers can combine the thrill of flat racing – including the £20,000 Caledonian Cup – with the chance to sample and enjoy a full craft beer line up featuring local brews from the Caledonian Brewery.
This year there will also be a special guest in the form of the Old Mout Cider Garden, offering revellers a colourful, quirky space to kick back and relax while trying out the unique flavours of perfectly served Old Mout.
A variety of live music including the Funkwagen will also be here adding atmosphere to the day, as well as an array of delicious food vendors to keep racegoers fuelled up. A number of gourmet packages are available to purchase in advance, including Aberdeen Angus Burger & Beer,
Gourmet Pie & Pint, or Fish & Chips package (All packages cost £40, and include an admission ticket, racecard and choice of beer, wine or soft drink).
For those who prefer a little extra sparkle with their racing, the Pommery Pop package (£42, including entrance ticket) comes complete with bottle of 200ml Pommery Pop.
