Hearts have revealed their new away strip for the forthcoming 2017/18 season. Umbro have designed the new strip and an engineered club graphic, inspired by the Heart of Midlothian cobbles in Edinburgh City Centre is embossed into the fabric, playing on two tone Light Blue, highlighted with the club’s traditional Maroon colour. The reverse neck of the shirt features a connection to a club mosaic within the stadium – “This is our story, this is our song”.

The away shorts are in the club’s traditional maroon colour. Hearts wore the new away kit for the first time tonight when they faced St Patrick’s Athletic in a pre-season friendly Dublin. Hearts lost 1-0.

The new Umbro away kit will be available in store and online at www.HeartsDirect.co.uk from 9am on Friday (7th July). The strip will be available in all sizes from Youth Small to XXXL.

Hearts have also announced that their opening day Ladbrokes Premiership match at Celtic on 5th August will have a 12.30pm kick-off with the game being broadcast live on Sky Sports television.

Meanwhile, former club captain Perry Kitchen has left Tynecastle and has signed for Danish side Randers FC.
