Mick Perrin Worldwide are proud to announce the debut solo stand-up show from award-winning comedian Alasdair Beckett-King at this year’s Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Alasdair is a legendary comedian, in that there is little historical evidence he exists. But he does exist.

His debut solo show is a cabinet of curiosities tackling the conundrums of impending extinction, archaic axioms, emotional repression and vegan flimflam.

Alasdair is the Winner of Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2017 and also won New Act of the Year (formerly Hackney Empire) in 2014 and has featured on BBC radio as a comedian and sketch writer. He’s performed stand-up across the UK, in the Glastonbury Cabaret Tent and at the Edinburgh Fringe.

He knows quite a lot about 19th century magicians. Tourists often ask to have their photo taken with him, presumably impressed by this.
