Edinburgh Council has a policy of encouraging us to recycle our Christmas trees. They assured us before Christmas that all we had to do was put the tree on the street at the right time and it would be magically removed.

Well that plan does not yet seem to have been completed even though it is now February at least a month after Christmas trees should have been taken down.

The council’s own site says that Christmas tree collection has been completed…. we beg to differ……. (Actually you can still put your tree out with a brown bin if you have one.)
