Police are appealing for information to help trace Anthony Russell, who is known as Tony, who was last seen around 10.30 am on Thursday 12th January, leaving his home address in Calder Place.

Since then, the 26-year-old has not been in contact with family and concern is now growing for his welfare.

Tony is described as being white, 6ft1in tall, of slim build with short dark brown hair.

He was wearing a black jacket, black jogging bottoms and light coloured trainers.

Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who may have seen Tony.

Inspector Graeme Dignan of Drylaw police station said: ā€œWe are getting increasingly concerned for Tonyā€™s welfare as he has not been seen since Thursday morning.

ā€œI would ask anyone who knows his whereabouts to please get in touch.

ā€œSimilarly if Tony himself sees this appeal, I would ask him to contact officers or his family to let them know he is safe and well.ā€

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
