If you have some time on your hands then you could be the perfect candidate for the Queen Margaret University university court.
You have until 13 January 2017 to apply to join as a lay member.
The court is looking for any individuals who have strong skills in finance or estates development or planning. Any other applicants with specialist knowledge are welcome to apply as long as they have a commitment to Higher Education, its governance and the values of the university.
Applicants should have experience of operating at strategic or board level or either have a track record of success in professional areas of expertise, or be able to develop one in the role.
The university is particularly keen to have applications from women, disabled people and ethnic minorities.
