Grange hope to get back into action on Saturday when the final round of Division One fixtures take place after being frozen out last weekend.

They are due to visit much-improved Glasgow side Hillhead (13.30) and it is a key clash.

Grange are second in the ten-strong league with 19 points from seven games, two points behind champions Bromac Kelburne who have played a game more.

Hillhead are third with 13 points from their seven starts and coach Mark Ralph has moulded his men into a competitive side who have won four and drawn one of their fixtures so far.

Elsewhere, Watsonians, whose home game last weekend against fourth-placed Grove Menzieshill was called off after 40 minutes with the scoreline at 4-0 against the Edinburgh combine, host Kelburne (14.30).

Watsonians, who led the table after three games, have slipped to sixth position after a four-game losing run but Kelburne have only lost one game so far this term and are the leagueā€™s top scorers with 33 goals and they have the meanest defence having shipped only nine goals.

Edinburgh University, who lost 5-1 at Kelburne last Saturday, host Western (16.00) who had a day off last weekend when their clash with Grange was cancelled.

The students coach Graham Moodie conceded that his men missed good chances against Kelburne but was pleased with a number of aspects of their display.
