I am an Army wife of twenty years, and last year when my husband was deployed to Kabul with 2 Scots who are based in Penicuik, I set up a Facebook page called Treats For Troops On Tour.
This page was originally to get donations in so I could send goodie/morale boxes out to Kabul but it really took off and a fare few hundred boxes went out over a 8 month period. It started with Christmas boxes, then Valentine parcels and the boxes full of Mini Eggs and Creme eggs for Easter.
Now there is a company from 1 Scots out in Kabul I have been still sending boxes out.
