A man is in serious condition in hospital after falling from a second floor window in Hillside Crescent this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 07.10am.
A police spokesman said: “Police in Edinburgh were called to an address on Hillside Crescent after a man fell from a second floor window.
“The Scottish ambulance Service attended the scene and transferred the man to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he remains in a serious condition.
“Inquiries are ongoing however there are not thought to be any suspicious circumstances at this time.2
