The schedule for winter between 30 October 2016 and 25 March 2017 is the biggest yet, with more than double the number of seats offered last year. Existing routes have proved popular for those wishing to fly to winter sun destinations such as Canary Islands, Alicante and Faro.

Steve Heapy, Chief Executive Officer, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “This is by far our biggest winter programme to date. The number of people in Edinburgh jetting away for some much-needed winter sunshine means we are seeing spectacular growth, and we now have almost 100,000 winter sun seats to popular holiday hotspots such as Alicante, the Canary Islands and the Algarve.”

“It isn’t just the sunshine that is driving growth, as our ski and city break destinations are on the up too. As a result we are adding two brand new winter routes, Fuerteventura and Turin. When you combine these new routes with the success of our other winter destinations then it puts us in a very strong position to enjoy our most successful winter yet.”
