Mens Sheds Project 9 March 2016

Have you entered our competition to win a kilo of the smoothest Scottish tablet ever?

Well take time now to do just that! Enter here.

Leith is taking on the celebration of World Book Day with a unique flair.

From 3-13 March, poems will be projected from Creative Exchange onto the Royal Bank of Scotland on Leith’s Constitution Street, with one poem from each of the first 11 Cities of Literature featuring each night.

Have you seen them yet? Any photos to share with us?

Join Scotland’s only waterways charity, Scottish Waterways Trust, and Marks & Spencer Edinburgh for a fun day of volunteering outdoors on the banks of the Union Canal.

The day forms part of the Marks & Spencer Edinburgh Spark Something Good campaign, and aims to regenerate and enhance Calders Gateway garden, created by young employability volunteers on Scottish Waterways Trust’s canal college project last year.

On the day you’ll help keep the garden alive and beautiful with a vibrant range of volunteer tasks from litterpicking to the creation of a whole new wildflower area. You’ll get to learn some new skills, meet new people and take pride in conserving a garden created for the local community to enjoy. Everyone is welcome!
