Rory Garbutt  an S3 pupil at Boroughmuir High School entered the Poetry Games UK Voices 2015 competition last year, through his school, when he was just 13.

The organisers are Young Writers.   Rory was delighted to learn recently that his poem, Water, has been selected as one of 12 regional finalists from over 9,500 entries.

He will be representing Scotland in the UK-wide competition.  The poem was published in an anthology last summer and now that he has reached the finals he has been asked to submit a small video to accompany his poem.

Voting for the winner of the  UK Poetry Games Voice 2015 has commenced and is running until 29th April.

You can support Rory by voting for him here.  He is so proud to be representing Boroughmuir High School and Scotland.
