Hibs’ Head Coach Alan Stubbs is well aware of the danger from Falkirk as the ‘Bairns’ have already beaten the Easter Road side twice this season.

Whilst fans may not agree, today is probably a bigger game that the previous two against rangers and Hearts.

With Hibs having virtually no chance of overtaking Hearts at the top of the table, the priority must be to finish in the play off positions.

Hibs currently sit third, level on points with Queen of the South and three points ahead of Falkirk with a superior goal difference.

A win today would provide a six point buffer which would be difficult for Falkirk to overtake.

Speaking to Hibs TV, Stubbs said: “It’s a big game – there’s no denying that. We’ve played them twice and, whether we like it or not, we’ve been beaten.

“Come Saturday we’ll be looking to put that right. Our approach to this game will be no different to any other.

“We will approach tomorrow’s game with a lot of belief – we believe we can get a result – and that’s what we’ll be focusing on.”

“Winning games is the biggest motivational factor – it doesn’t make a difference, who it is against.

“You’ve got a professional job to do which is to go out there and get three points.

“The sign of a good team is one that is capable of raising it against everybody.

“I think we’re aware Falkirk are a well organised team that have got players who can hurt us if we’re not fully focused.

“But I’m very happy with how the team are playing right now and I can assure everyone the standards will not drop.”
