Hibs training centre

Hibs opened the doors to the Training Centre on Tuesday afternoon and welcomed in users from popular supporters’ online forum, hibs.net to give them another exclusive and insightful update from the club’s football department.

Since 1994, hibs.net have consistently supported the club’s Academy with generous donations, the overall total in excess of £50k, which have been gratefully received by Hibernian and have made a genuine difference.

Hibs.net also sponsors the club’s Happy Hibee half-time draw and at the start of the season donated kit which is used by the club’s video analysis department.

Approximately 60 supporters, who regularly participate on the online forum, enjoyed the experience, which is the third trip of the season, which included detailed talks from: Alan Stubbs, George Craig, Head of Football Operations, Craig Flannigan, Head of Sports Science and Fitness,Graeme Mathie, Head of Player Identification and Recruitment and Billy Bryson, Senior Video Analyst.

The group also participated in an hour-long Q&A with Head Coach Alan Stubbs, who tackled several key topics and shed some further light on football matters.

Hibs.net also experienced a guided tour of the Training Centre and watched the first team train.

Hibs also thank hibs.net for their continued support and hopefully the experience will further galvanise the bond between the online forum and the club.
