Friday at the Royal Highland Show was blessed with great weather.

The show jumping rings were buzzing with speed and agility from some beautiful horses and ponies, and then in the evening sun the Heavy Horse category strutted their stuff. The food hall was full of big names such as Nick Nairn and Claire MacDonald showing you what to do with the food that Scotland produces. The bars were bursting to the seams with farmers glad to be in the company of many friends from across the country, and The Edinburgh Reporter was there to take some photos. We hope you like them.
