This was the scene on South St Andrew Street on Wednesday morning when a refuse lorry was parked outside MacDonalds blocking the path of the tram returning to the airport. The lorry driver was nowhere to be seen, even though the tram driver was sounding the bell.
There was possibly enough room for the tram to pass, but it was clear that the driver decided that caution was the best option!
Seems to be a favourite place for parking at the moment. On Edinburgh’s Worst Drivers last week a taxi was parked in exactly the same place causing an obstruction too.
