Police Scotland have confirmed that a 32 year old man has been arrested in relation to the discovery of two bodies within a house in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian
He is expected to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court tomorrow (Tues December 31)
The bodies of a woman and a young boy were discovered around 8.30pm on Saturday  when  officers went to the  property in South Chesters Lane after an acquaintance of the family had voiced concern.
Chief Inspector Colin Brown said officers were grateful for the support they are receiving from the neighbours whilst carrying out inquiries.”
