Trinity Primary School have fostered a relationship with a primary school in Tanzania in recent years.

On Monday the whole school turned out to welcome Sofia, a teacher from Luhira Primary School in Songea in Tanzania, back to the school for her second visit. The first was in November 2011.

The Edinburgh Reporter spoke to Sheena Hardie one of the teachers at Trinity who is about to go to Tanzania on a return trip, and to Jacqueline Scott the head teacher, about the benefits of the exchange, sharing the differences in culture and education with the children.
