Young people in Edinburgh and the Lothians who want to find out about life at college and university can come along to Skills Development Scotland’s (SDS) Higher Education Convention.

The Convention, at Queen Margaret University’s Sports Hall, on 9-10 September 2013, brings together college and university representatives from all over the UK. It offers students an opportunity to compare and contrast courses in one place at one time.

More than 50 organisations will be there to offer information and advice to students and their parents. Adults who want to learn more about further education are also welcome to attend.

The free event, which is organised in association with UCAS, will have details on courses, accommodation and funding. SDS careers advisers will be there to give impartial, one-to-one advice.

For information about how to get the best from going along to the Convention visit this website here.
