Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival – Crafty work on the canal – Councillors – Daniel Scott – Ken Currie exhibition at the Portrait Gallery opens today

The Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival is now underway with a new centrepiece at the Tron Kirk on the Royal Mile.

The Edinburgh Reporter was invited to Edinburgh Airport to film the Californian Honeydrops who were brightening up the airport concourse for passengers with their unique sounds:-

From today at the National Scottish Portrait Gallery you can see the exhibition by Scottish artist, Ken Currie which is his first solo exhibition there. The Edinburgh Reporter spoke to him about what the public might expect when they go to see it:-

Today our photo is of the Queen Elizabeth which anchored in the Forth yesterday. Passengers landed at South Queensferry to take trips to Edinburgh and beyond. Today it is the Caribbean Princess which will be there and we are told she is HUGE! If you get any photos perhaps you would share them with us?
