Nick Hall (the short one from award-winning sketch act The Three Englishmen) presents his debut stand-up show at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

Fast-paced, energetic, and packed with gags, the charmingly cantankerous Nick Hall takes us on a hilarious thrill-ride – from the high-octane workplace of Watford Homebase to the seedy underbelly of clubbing in Crete, from the awkward fiction of a made-up girlfriend to the sobering reality of a full cavity search.

In this fun-filled and entertaining hour we’ll discover a few things Nick has learnt about the world so far – the perils of going for a jog on Christmas day, the delights of emptying a chemical toilet in France, and what happens when your mum is accidentally racist on BBC2. (Warning: Nick Hall is Live!)

Best known for his work with sketch act The Three Englishmen (“Impossible not to be won over” Chortle), Nick has had sell-out shows in 2010, 2011 and 2012. This year’s Edinburgh Fringe marks Nick’s stand-up debut.

He has appeared on BBC 2, BBC 3 and BBC Radio 4 and has his own sitcom script in development. He is also the regular compere of cult movie night Hot Tub Cinema, which is taking the UK by storm (“Joyous!” Evening Standard).
