Having provided quality picture framing to the people of Edinburgh for the past 21 Years, Blackhall Framing Gallery are launching a brand new retail experience for their customers. The gallery, located at 18 Hillhouse Road, on the main A90 road into Edinburgh in Blackhall reopened on 21 January 2013. This follows an extensive refurbishment project that they hope will allow them to provide the very best selection and choice of any picture framer in Edinburgh.

Blackhall Framing Gallery is a family run business specialising in quality custom picture framing, art and gifts. The refurbishment is designed to improve the retail experience for customers and provide additional display space for quality art. The shop is brighter and easier to navigate, allowing customers to easily see all items on display. The new moulding display area has been specially designed for the store and now allows customers access to the full selection of the 1500 plus frames available.

The proprietor is Mary Case, who is a Guild Commended Framer. When asked what makes the new store so special she said:- “Our new retail store allows us to offer the very best service, choice and experience that our existing clients have come to expect. We will also be able to provide an increased choice of frame and glass options. In addition we have introduced new visualisation software that will allow our customers to see on screen how their artwork will look once framed. Customers will be able to see at a glance how different framing and mount options affect the overall look of their artwork, allowing them to make a fully informed decision. ”

Complimentary tea and coffee is also available while you shop.
