Sheila Low is standing as Conservative candidate in the Pentland Hills Ward.
“She also stood in both the Westminster and Holyrood elections and fought good campaigns and received excellent press.”

She is married with four children aged from 8 to 18. She has a business and finance background which includes many years at Baker Tilly, a national firm of accountants. Sheila has also been a consultant to Scottish Enterprise on a project to increase business start up rates and successfully set up her own business, a children’s nursery, which she built up and sold to another operator. and currently acts as a consultant to legal firms.

Sheila is a non-executive director of Turning Point Scotland, and a consultant with Cycle Law Scotland.

 

Her sense of humour is often talked about and her easy going manner makes her popular on the doorsteps.

The Pentland Hills ward has been represented in the last administration by three councillors, Alastair Paisley (Conservative), Ronald Cairns (SNP) and Ricky Henderson (Labour).
