Fox Covert Primary School is a non-denominational school built in1960 which serves the Clerwood area of Edinburgh. The current school roll is 197 pupils. There are 7 classes.
The school is part of the Craigmount High School cluster. Although the school does not have a nursery, there is a partnership nursery run by parents located within the school grounds with which there are strong links.
The school shares playgrounds, playing field, hall and dining facilities with Fox Covert RC School. The school is a two-storey building with seven large classrooms, an IT suite/Library, teaching base and staff base. The playgrounds and grounds have undergone improvement including development of a sensory garden, pond and seating areas. The school is ideally situated to take advantage of the active outdoor learning opportunities offered by Corstorphine Hill. A range of opportunities for wider achievement are provided for pupils.
