The Hard Rock Cafe celebrated its 40th birthday in style by having an Edinburgh street party complete with Harley Davidsons and mojitos.
The section of George Street outside the restaurant was closed for four hours yesterday as celebrations took place to mark 40 years of the first diner in London.
Party-goers enjoyed complimentary drinks and burgers, had their make-up done by the girls from Benefit and were even treated to Harley Davidson rides from the Dunedin Chapter.
The team from Forth One were also on hand broadcasting music throughout the day including a live performance from local singer/songwriter and their own ‘One to Watch’ Carrie Mac.
Lesley Ross, Hard Rock Cafe Edinburgh’s sales and marketing manager, said:- “Today was absolutely brilliant. It was the best we could have hoped for.
“The best part of the day was seeing so many people turn out to help us celebrate our 40th in style. Maybe we’ll have another party like this next year!”
