The Filmhouse is showing Edinburgh College of Art Film and TV tonight at 20.30. “A dazzling array of films from our 2011 grads – a hallucinatory girlfriend, octogenarian tea dancers, a mail order robotic man, wanderlust in Bulgaria and 100 slices of toast are just some of the elements in these new films by ECA’s graduates. The Scottish Book Awards got a bit excited yesterday when Stephen Fry mentioned them in a tweet. They have their shortlist here and you could always vote if you have read any of the books. The prize will be announced on 26 August.
Edinburgh’s streets are apparently the second most congested in the UK according to a survey revealed by The Scotsman.
