Edinburgh Rugby wind up the Magners League season with their final home game of the season at Murrayfield tonight. Ticket prices are £20 for adults, £10 for OAP’s and students and £5 for under 18’s. Kick off is at 19:30.

The fair comes at the end of Edinburgh’s Ceilidh Culture, the yearly celebration of grassroots tradtional arts in Scotland’s capital, where more than 30 acts performed in venues across the City including Wendy Carle Taylor, Newfangled Folk, Mairi Campbell, Scots Music Group, Edinburgh Folk Club, Ken Campbell and The Ideal Band, Ailie Robertson, Canongate Cadjers, Ceilidh Collective, TMSA Northern Streams plus many more powerful and energetic events with singers, musicians, ceilidh dancers, big bands and the rest!
Next year will be the 10th Anniversary of this festival so we can look forward to some celebrations and extra special events.
Easter weekend at Edinburgh Zoo

Between Friday and Sunday this easter weekend at Edinburgh Zoo visitors can take part in Sumatran trail organised by the RSPB. On this trail visitors will learn about birds and animals and lots of interesting facts and figures. The trail will also feature Edinburgh zoo’s sun bears and tigers.
As well as this, between Friday and Monday children who visit the Zoo will have the chance to make masks and have their faces painted. Children can also enjoy decorating cookies with Scottish Company Iona Bear and meet life size build-a-bear mascots.

Musselburgh Racecourse continues its tradition of throwing the largest Easter Sunday family event in East Lothian on April 24 with its Easter Sunday Race Day.
The event is part of a weekend double racing bill with prize money of £115,000 and featuring the historic Musselburgh Gold Cup day on Saturday 23 April.
A host of attractions will include fairground rides, face painting at both meetings plus an arts and crafts workshop on Easter Sunday. The first 500 children to arrive on Easter Sunday will each receive a free egg from the Easter Bunny and there will be free chocolate available for kids arriving later.
Gates open on both days at 11.30am; first race on Saturday is at 1.55pm and at 2.30pm on Sunday. Musselburgh has a policy of admitted children aged 16 and under free when with an adult and once inside the racecourse all entertainment is free on both days.
The Scottish Storytelling Centre take another look at Little Red Riding Hood, this time through the eyes of a thespian wolf!
Wolf Tales invites you backstage with Mr B.B. Wolf who wants to set the record straight…He’s Big, he’s Bad and very very hairy, but underneath he’s not that scary! In between making his exits and entrances for a starring role in Little Red Riding Hood, while simultaneously babysitting a pram full of cubs, the Wolf reminds us that you shouldn’t believe everything you hear.
Bristol-based Pickled Image use lifesize puppets, shadows and songs to create a spectacular and hilarious expose of the truth behind classic fairytales.
