Edinburgh’s premium wine bar Divino Enoteca will play host to one of New York’s finest jazz performers this month, providing the perfect accompaniment to their fine wine offering.
American Jazz singer Amie Amis will star at the venue in the heart of the capital’s Old Town on Thursday 17 March, treating guests to a selection of eclectic jazz classics which have been beautifully reinterpreted for the modern ear.
Renowned for her soulful tones, Amie has also distinguished herself as multi talented musician playing the French horn and performing different mixed styles of music inspired by the likes of Frank Zappa and Stereolab with a touch of Serge Gainsbourg, and a pinch of Bjork.
Head Sommelier Sebastiano Ingaliso said: “Amie is fantastic singer and beautiful performer and we are extremely pleased that she is able to perform for us.
“Her melodies are catchy and warming and her performances really capture the passion which we have put into Divino Enoteca.
“Amie has performed here twice so far and she has been a real hit with customers who are keen to come back and hear more. Thursday is her final night with us and we are hoping that wine and music lovers will come along and see her perform.
“Live music adds something special to any venue and our intimate surroundings as well as our offering of fine food and wine, makes Divino the perfect venue for a great night out.”
