It runs from 6th to 8th August in Leith Links. It was first held in 1995 in Meadowbank Stadium and now attracts about 20,000 people.
This year in The Big Top on Saturday there will be live music from Ceol Mor, Rizwan and Muazzam Qawwali, Something Relevant, Northern Exposure, Bonafide, Patiala Pipe Band, Pulse of the Palace, Lothian & Borders Police Choir, Townhouse, Ask-I-Trio and will end with a jam session late on Saturday evening.
Sunday’s entertainment will include Shiraz, Jaz Dhami,Taz, DJ Wax, Martin Aelred, Zawadi Women’s Choir, G Band, Zagumba Andrew Kalyowa and the Jaipur Kawa Brass Band.
The Board of DIrectors is chaired by Councillor Steve Cardownie, but day to day business throughout the year is headed up by Liam Sinclair.
