At Edinburgh Filmhouse on 7 May the Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival shows a special series of three films in Roméria.
Romería is the third feature film from Spanish director Carla Simón. The story follows Marina, an 18-year-old girl who travels to Vigo, Galicia, to meet her biological father’s family for the first time. Marina was orphaned at a very young age after both of her parents died from AIDS-related complications.
This is part of the Festival of Europe Scotland programme and is supported by the Consulate General of Spain in Edinburgh.
