Edinburgh Accies netball club have agreed sponsorship from property firm, Blair Cadell, in a move championed by head coach Kerry Walsh Jones, amongst others.
Kerry said: “With Blair Cadell’s support and the enthusiasm of our squad, we’re aiming high this season. Having just won the first half of the City of Edinburgh Netball Association (CENA) League, we’re building on strong performances and aiming to make an impact in the National League, CENA, and Scottish Cup. We’re focused on developing our players and balancing the talented athletes coming through our pathway, our experienced ex-international players, and our home-grown talent. Central to everything we do is our philosophy of person first, player second—we want to create an environment where athletes can thrive not only on the court but in life, enjoy themselves, foster a positive team culture, and leave a lasting legacy for the club.”
Club president Gemma Sole added: “We feel very privileged to partner with an organisation that is so highly respected in Edinburgh. They have been supporters of the club since we were first established in 2018, and it’s great to have a sponsor who supports us off court, but is also really engaged in our sport and can be heard cheering us on at matches.”
Blair Cadell’s property manager, Jamie Sole, said: “The level of success the club has achieved in such a short space of time clearly demonstrates how a team can thrive and achieve great results with the right people and facilities in place.
“We hope our support will help Accies Netball continue to grow at both junior and senior levels, while retaining and expanding their high-quality coaching and support team and continue to work in the local communities with their holiday camps. We are especially pleased to support women and girls in getting involved in a progressive sport like netball, which is accessible to all.”
