Tickets for the 2027 edition of The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo have gone on sale for next year.
The show will feature the theme The Same Heart Beat and will run from 6 to 28 August with music, drumming dance and performance. Next year there will be a special focus on drumming for the anticipated audience of more than 200,000 to enjoy while moving to the same beat.
The Tattoo includes some of the best military acts from all over the world, with some from Scotland.
Titled A Call to Gather, the show honoured the Scottish soldiers who answered the call to serve in the First World War. It was narrated by the actor Richard Rankin (Rebus, Outlander), represented by The Call Statue, one of Edinburgh’s famous landmarks – in tribute to these soldiers’ sacrifice.

The response from our audiences this summer has been overwhelming and positive and a testament to our global cast of performers.
“From the precision drill of Qatar to the Motown of the United States the whole world was on our stage as we celebrated the importance of bringing together to share cultures. I cannot wait to share more about next year, The Same Heart Beat, a new show with the Royal Navy at its core.”
