West Bromwich Albion wing-back Alex Williams has joined Hibs on-loan for the 2026/27 season, subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old Welshman joins the Club on a season-long loan from the EFL Championship side to become our ninth addition of the summer transfer window.
Williams came through Albion’s academy, making his senior debut against Derby County in the EFL Cup in August 2025 before appearing against Stoke City in his first professional league match later that same month.
The right-sided defender is a Wales youth international, earning seven U21 caps.
He has also represented his country at U16, U17, U18 and U19 level.

“He is a hard-working individual who will bring great energy to the team on the pitch, and he’s a forward-thinking fullback/wing-back who gives us more options on the right-hand side.
