Community groups in Leith have less than two weeks to apply for up to £5,000 in funding for local projects.
The deadline for LeithChooses 2026/27 applications is 11:45pm on Monday 12 October.
Organisers have warned that the deadline is unlikely to be extended this year to maintain fairness for timely applicants.
Projects must be new or add value to the area, starting after 31 March 2027 and aligning with this year’s theme of ‘Greater Leith Harmony’.
The funding cannot be used to continue existing services and all projects must conclude by March 2028 at the latest.
Applications can be submitted via the online form at edinburgh.gov.uk/applyleithchooses.
Guidance notes and a sample application form are available online to assist groups in checking their eligibility and preparing their submissions.
