Hibernian FC Women have announced the signing of Aoife Colvill on a two-year contract, subject to SFA approval and international clearance.
The 25-year-old brings a wealth of experience to the forward line, having spent four seasons with Glasgow City between 2020 and 2024, where she was part of two Scottish Women’s Premier League title-winning squads.
Born in Australia, Colvill began her career with A-League side Canberra United before moving to Scotland.
She most recently spent two seasons with Belgian outfit Standard Liège, helping the club lift the Belgian Cup during the 2024/25 campaign.
Aoife will wear number 15 jersey.
Following her arrival in Leith, Colvill said: “I’m delighted to be here. I’ve had my first day and met all the girls, I’m just excited to get going.
“What every team wants is to be playing in Europe and competing for cups and for trophies. I really think we can do that here.”
Hibs Women Head Coach Joelle Murray added: “We’re delighted to welcome Aoife to Hibernian. She’s a player who already knows the SWPL well, and that experience will be a real asset to us as we continue to strengthen the squad.
“Aoife gives us a strong attacking presence and has the versatility to play through the middle or in the wide areas, which is something that will be really valuable over the course of the season. She’s an intelligent player who works hard for the team and gives us different options in the final third.
“When Aoife last played in the league, her goals-to-games ratio was extremely impressive, and that’s a reflection of the quality she possesses in front of goal. We’re hopeful she can carry that form into her time with Hibs and make a real impact for us.
